The Laboratory of Bioorganic and Peptide Chemistry led by Tom Fiala develops chemical tools to tackle critical questions in biology and neuroscience. Our main topics are self-assembling peptides and proximity-driven reactivity. We are a multidisciplinary team operating on the border of organic and peptide synthesis, biophysical chemistry, chemical biology, and neuroscience.
